The poor guy was having some knee issues, was a bit under-the-weather, and had school stuff going on too (if memory serves). He joined up with us in some later parts of the hike, though. Comment on this (0 so far) y2008m01d04 - Our immediate family gift exchange wasn't until 4th (giving ample time for post-Christmas deal-snagging). Mom cooked up all kinds of fine finger foods and we watched an episode from Rachel's Planet Earth DVD series (which she got from Aunt Pam).

Comment on this (0 so far) y2007m05d04 - Lunch at the Tomahawk - awesome food! Comment on this (0 so far) y2007m05d04 - The Tomahawk is known for its excellent coffee. Dad talked with the owner briefly and he gave Dad a free package of their coffee grinds! Sa-weet!
Comment on this (0 so far) y2007m05d02 - Dinner at the Squires Comment on this (0 so far) y2007m04d28 - We took a tour of Fort Langley and stopped in at a gelato place. That icecream tastes über-good!
Comment on this (0 so far) y2006m09d01 - Some of the YP got up early and made breakfast, so the chaperones could sleep in. Then they decorated the chaperone's table and sang a thank-you song as they served the food. Comment on this (0 so far) y2006m09d01 - At my table.
Comment on this (0 so far) y2006m09d01 - At Albert's table. Comment on this (0 so far) y2006m09d01 - Mikey just loves those grilled cheese sandwitches.
Comment on this (0 so far) y2006m08d29 - Luv that icecream! Comment on this (0 so far) y2005m01d08 - Mmm... That was tasty!
Comment on this (0 so far) y2005m01d08 - Personally, I don't think you can get too much better than vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. Well, unless you have hot chocolate syrup. Oh, and peanuts sprinkled on top! Comment on this (1 so far) y2004m12d23 - Mom often gives baked goods as Christmas gifts. Mmmm! She and Rachel have been making all kinds of tasty things in the kitchen. Not all of it is being given away, so I'll be enjoying some too.
Comment on this (0 so far) y2004m09d25 - "Earl Grey, hot." I don't normally drink tea but this was great, even without sugar. Was it just the tea, or was it the company and atmosphere that made it so appealing? Comment on this (0 so far) y2004m09d25 - I thought I'd get a photo of Maria in action, kindly pouring tea for one of the guests.
