Photos - BC Trip for 2007 Graduation
From y2007m04d24 to y2007m05d05

My sister graduated from TWU out in BC and Mom, Dad, and I hopped out there to witness the event and wisk her home again after. While we were in the area anyway we thought we'd spend some time visiting relatives and friends and seeing the BC sights. I believe we accomplished both tasks and rather enjoyed the whole experience.

Comment on this (0 so far) y2007m04d24 - The young lady beside Mom is a sister of a girl my sister knows. It is less confusing than it sounds... Rachel thought we might meet her in the Calgary airport and we did. What's more, Mom's seat was right beside hers! The two chatted a fair bit I think.
Comment on this (0 so far) y2007m04d25 - We got to attend a Tai Kwon Do testing class, in which various students performed to achieve their next level. It was cool to see the various moves. One of Rachel's friends (in the photo) was a student - I sure hope I never get on her bad side!
Comment on this (0 so far) y2007m04d26 - The Williams took us on a tour. This photo is out on a dock some distance from the shore of White Rock.
Comment on this (2 so far) y2007m04d26 - There were cool little jellyfish-type-things in the water, which glowed slightly. They were fairly hard to see by eye, but the camera's flash must have lit them up nicely.
Comment on this (2 so far) y2007m04d26 - "Die, ye unearthly beast!!"
Some massive kelp had washed up on shore. It did look rather alien...
Comment on this (0 so far) y2007m04d28 - We took a tour of Fort Langley and stopped in at a gelato place. That icecream tastes über-good!
Comment on this (0 so far) y2007m04d28 - At the graduation the faculty wore some strange outfits but I thought they were pretty cool. Sure beats a suit and tie!
Comment on this (0 so far) y2007m04d28 - That's Rachel in the middle, getting her diploma or certificate or whatever it is called.
Comment on this (0 so far) y2007m04d28 - Nice gold rope, huh!
